My sister in Burque sent me 2 books before I moved to New Mexico, both written by Rudolfo Anaya, entitled "Albuquerque" and "Bless Me, Ultima."  I found resonance in the stories of “Bless Me, Ultima” and accordingly felt a great comfort and honored finding myself the set designer for Director Carl Franklin's Film "Bless Me, Ultima."  It screens 7:30 PM, Thursday night 3/26/2015, so for a break in routine, you can see it gratis at The Hispanic Cultural Center.  I'd be happy to share answers to any questions you may have about set design for this film.
